Gig review: Club Depo, Riga 16.07.09

Already seeing this night band list we can expect very interesting concert, full of contrasts. There will be performing Finnish alternative/ indie/ rock band The Spyro”, Australian alternative/ pop rock band „The Happy Endings” and also our own bands "Logo" and "The Picture".
This night concert was opened by a young Finnish band "The Spyro", which has been formed only year ago and have already managed to let out a CD and even to go on a first European concert tour. So, the CLUB DEPO was included in this tour. Interesting is a fact, that before that band members wasn't familiar with each other, despite all that they have achieved a good interplay and leaves a professional impression. In this tour together with the band "The Spyro" has come their sound man, to who we can thank for the good sounding, which allows to enjoy music, based on wide effect, simultaneous guitar part using and high solos ( seems a little more and they could pierce through head ). Unfortunately the audience sympathy isn't huge, that can be explained - "The Spyro" was the first band and to Latvian crowd not known so well, it was just the first concert here. At the conclusion of the concert band plays another song by the request of their Finnish fans and after that goes to drink beer. These guys are indeed dynamiteS!
