Session day 5: Y.M.C.A! no - wait, think it was supposed to be B.O.R.D.E.LL.O!

At last, lead vocals. But who would I trust in this matter, who's voice could be my guiding light? Huey Lewis, Billy Idol, Nina Persson, Damon Albarn, Morrissey, Robert Smith, Barney from Napalm Death or Olli Lindholm noooo!! Frank said it: I did it my way

Yesterday I had finished the lead vocal tracks to Fugitive. There were still seven songs to go. I decided to start with I'm Not The One and then carry on to Ungrateful Fuck and as third Don't Show Your Weakness. These three songs went quite easily, we took several extra takes to capture the right mood. Our friend and a talented musician Vilkku sang few vocal harmonies too. After this we ordered pizzas (Quattro Stagione, if you must know;) Actually I´m not much of a pizza man, but what the heck if it feeds you and is cheap. And then back to studio..

After a small break it was time to sing Bordello, maybe the most insane one of our songs. I sang it through Antti's guitar amp (Orange) or was it through Vox? Can't remember precisely. When we were recording the backing vocals all the men in the studio ( Jyri, me, Antti and Mika) hit the vocal booth. Someday you can hear something very interesting, not Y.M.C.A but B.O.R.D.E.LL.O. =)

Last song of the day was We Are Poor, also very interesting piece, can't wait to hear it. After this my throat felt sore, men were exhausted and it was time to call it a day. We left two songs and most of the vocals harmonies for the last day. Sweet dreams were more than welcome.
